Job Description

Montgomery Consulting LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Remote Data Processing Clerk to assist with basic data entry, document processing, and administrative tasks. This is an entry-level position involving straightforward computer-based work and is well suited for someone who is organized, comfortable using a computer, and able to work independently.

The ideal candidate will accurately enter, update, organize, and maintain company and project information while following established procedures and meeting assigned deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter information accurately into company databases and spreadsheets.
• Review documents and verify basic information for accuracy and completeness.
• Update and maintain electronic records and files.
• Organize digital documents and project-related information.
• Transfer information from forms, documents, and emails into designated systems.
• Perform basic data sorting, filing, and record maintenance.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and bring it to the appropriate team member's attention.
• Assist with routine administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.
• Communicate with team members through email, phone, or company messaging systems.
• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Follow company procedures and instructions for data handling and document management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to type accurately and enter information carefully.
• Good attention to detail.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Previous data entry, administrative, or clerical experience is helpful but not required .
