Job Summary:

The Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of digital health information systems. This position involves developing and executing detailed test scenarios and cases to verify conformance to both functional and non-functional requirements, supporting healthcare delivery transformation through effective information and communication technology solutions. The role requires extensive experience in software testing within clinical and general IT environments and will be performed remotely within Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios, scripts, and cases for software applications.
• Validate conformance to functional and non-functional requirements across multiple projects.
• Support information system implementation projects through analysis and process mapping activities.
• Document customer requirements, business processes, and identify capability gaps.
• Develop and execute testing for client-server and web applications.
• Perform testing related to the implementation of the Altera Sunrise suite of products in clinical environments.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Degree, diploma, or certification in Software Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and executing test scenarios demonstrating conformance to requirements.
• At least 5 years of experience developing detailed testing cases and executing tests for information systems, including clinical settings.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst role supporting information system implementations and process mapping.
• At least 5 years of experience in software testing, including test case design for client-server and web applications.
• 6 months of experience testing implementations of the Altera Sunrise suite of products in clinical environments.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with healthcare digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with provincial health sector information management and communication technology processes.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Special Considerations:

• Work must be performed remotely from within Canada; remote work outside Canada is not permitted.
• Additional hours beyond the standard 7.75 hours per business day may be required, up to 10% of total hours.

Scheduling:

• Full-time position with a standard workday of 7.75 hours following Central Time.
• Duration from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with an option to extend from April 1, 2027, to June 30, 2027.
• Total of 122 workdays, amounting to 945.5 hours.
